Adjei, a former Aduana talisman, re-joins the club after spells with other Ghanaian sides and stints abroad in Kuwait and Tanzania. He left Aduana in January 2023, having scored 49 goals in 145 appearances for the club.

His most prolific campaign came in the 2021/22 season, when he netted 14 goals in 28 league matches. A once CNN Goal of the Week winner, Adjei also had a brief spell with Kuwaiti outfit Burgan FC and previously played for Tema Youth in the GPL.

He becomes Aduana’s 13th signing of the transfer window, following the arrivals of Godfred Boakye, Gregory Obeng Sekyere, Mezack Afriyie, Charles Kamara Gyamfi, Patrick Mensah, Stephen Kwakye, Remember Adomako Boateng, Riis Opoku Twumasi, Dominic Frimpong, Kofi Asante, Henry Yeboah, and Samuel Owusu Ansah.

Adjei will link up with his teammates for preseason in Nsoatreman as the club gears up for the new campaign.

Aduana Stars will begin their season away to Karela United on September 14, before hosting Nations FC in their first home fixture.
