Al-Hilal have reportedly submitted a new contract proposal to convince Napoli forward Victor Osimhen to sign for the Saudi Pro League giants this summer.

The new contract is revealed to be worth a staggering €160 million over a four-year period.

The Middle East club have been chasing the 26-year-old’s signature for a while now, with the hope of securing his signature before the league’s new campaign commences for the 2025/26 season.

Osimhen have been on the radar for the Saudi club for a while now, and were hoping to secure his signature before the Club World Cup begins, but failed to finalise a transfer for their priority target this summer.

Al-Hilal are likely to face stiff competition from several European giants, such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Galatasaray, Juventus, and Liverpool, who are all looking to revamp their attack this summer.

However, the Saudi-rich club could beat off competition due to their supreme financial muscles and are confident of reaching an agreement with the striker once he returns from holidays.

Victor Osimhen has been in sensational form for Galatasaray, netting 37 goals in 41 matches

Al-Hilal had earlier submitted a huge contract proposal worth a net €40m-per-season across an initial three-year deal, with an option for a fourth, according to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport.

The report adds that Osimhen “will not” join Liverpool, Galatasaray, or Juventus this summer.

The Nigerian international is set to become one of the highest-paid players in world football, and he is now increasingly likely to move to Saudi Arabia this summer.

Osimhen has confirmed that multiple clubs are chasing him, and although reports suggest he prefers to play in the Champions League next season, a move to Al-Hilal seems to be his most probable next move.

The clinical striker bagged 37 goals in 41 appearances on loan at Galatasaray last season, and he is guaranteed to leave Napoli on a permanent deal this summer after falling out with the club chiefs, as per multiple reports.

Aside from Osimhen, Al-Hilal are also hoping to finalise a move for AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez, who is close to reaching an agreement to join the Saudi Pro League side, while Napoli’s Serie A MVP Scott McTominay is on their radar too.
