Al-Nassr eye €100m move for Ghana’s Mohammed Kudus

Kudus Mohammed has been linked with a move to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr in the summer

Mohammed Kudus is reportedly being monitored in a potential €100m move by Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr in the summer.

Kudus has been a subject of a big summer move by many European clubs since his move from Ajax to West ham for a reported £38m after a breakout 2022/23 campaign.

Since his move to the Premier League, Kudus has demonstrated his versatility, skill, and strength in maintaining his level as one of the best recruits from the famous Ajax academy.

It comes as no surprise that Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr is in the hunt for the 24-year-old forward after spending 2 years in the English top-flight league.

Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr are eyeing Mohammed Kudus as West Ham could be forced to cash in on the Ghanaian international in the summer should the Saudi big spenders present a sizeable fee.

According to reports from Saudi football correspondent for talkSPORT, Ben Jacobs, Al-Nassr are prepared to bid €100m for West Ham’s Kudus.

However, the attacker is only one of four attacking Premier League targets, along with Kaoru Mitoma, Antoine Semenyo, and Luiz Diaz, being chased by the Big-money Saudi side.

He also indicates that Al-Nassr attempted an approach for Kudus in January after seeing a €90m bid for Brighton’s Mitoma rejected.

It was also reported that Kudus has a £120m Saudi-specific release clause, different from the £85m one for Premier League clubs.

It is yet to be known if Al-Nassr will make an official bid, as they are not yet sure if Kudus is prepared to move, but are confident West Ham will sell for below the Saudi clause, which is only valid from July 1-10.

Graham Potter will look to rebuild the West Ham squad in the upcoming summer transfer, but only if the club can make money from player sales.

New signings won’t be possible if a clear-out is not activated to present Potter with a heavy transfer kitty in the summer.

Kudus, however, has found life in London quite difficult in his second season. The player has not been able to maintain his standards, and he hasn’t scored a goal since December 2024.

Since his arrival, the Ghanaian vice-captain has scored 18 goals and provided seven assists in 42 appearances in the Premier League.
