Amorim says Man United must win games to improve poor form

Ruben Amorim has admitted to playing a part in Manchester United’s poor run this year and says his team must win games consistently in they want to improve moving forward.
The Red Devils have been shaky across all departments this season from defence to attack and currently sit in 14th place on the Premier League standings with five games to go.
Amorim’s side however find themselves in the Europa League semi-finals and can secure a ticket to next season’s UEFA Champions League campaign should they go all the way in Europe this year.
Despite that bit of positivity about United’s campaign, Amorim says winning games consistently is what his team needs to blow out the poor form this year as the season nears its finale.
Speaking to the press ahead of United’s away trip to Bournemouth in the league on Sunday, Amorim said: “I am critical because we are not winning games and we are Manchester United and near the bottom of the league. We must win our games and that’s how we improve.”
The Portuguese tactician also confirmed the return of Amad Diallo to team training, insisting that the Ivorian would be in United’s squad in the next few matchdays.
“Amad is near the return. His return is now close and that is good for us. He should be with us on the pitch very soon”, he said.
