Arsenal have entered the race to snap up Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur’s £68m-rated Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze, according to reports.

Eze, who scored the only goal against Manchester City in the FA Cup final, was sensational for the Eagles last season, bagging 14 goals and 11 assists in all competitions to cap off a successful campaign.

Spurs view Eze as a priority target for new manager Thomas Frank, with the Red Devils also looking to strengthen their side with the potential signing of the English international.

However, according to talkSPORT, the 26-year-old is also on Arsenal’s shortlist, with Mikel Arteta keen on recruiting a versatile attacking player along with a new striker this summer.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are linked with potential summer moves for Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, while rivals Man United have also shown strong interest in signing Viktor Gyokeres and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike.

Although Arsenal fancy a move for Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, the Gunners consider Eze’s £68 million release clause in his deal with Palace a cheaper option than the Brazilian forward.

Eze for Crystal Palace
Eze bagged 14 goals and 11 assists in all competitions for Crystal Palace to cap off a successful campaign.

Arsenal have also made an enquiry for West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, who has an £85 million release clause that can be activated during the first 10 days of July, while also showing interest in Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon.

Earlier this month, United legend Paul Scholes urged his club to sign Eze after the Eagles midfielder emerged as one of the only positives from England’s 3-1 defeat to Senegal.

Eze, meanwhile, has made no secret of his desire to join a club who are capable of contending and winning the Premier League title.

“Everything there is for me to win, I want to win, and I’ll do anything I possibly can to win the Premier League,” he told Sky Sports last month.
