Arsenal are keen on adding a new winger to their ranks and have reportedly added a rival winger from Chelsea, Noni Madueke, to their list of potential winger targets for this summer.

Madueke, who has been a regular starter under Enzo Maresca’s squad this term, has caught the attention of Arsenal, following the club’s failure to secure the signature of Spanish sensation Nico Williams, who is said to have agreed a deal with La Liga champions Barcelona over a summer move.

The Gunners are keen to bolster their attacking department with a wide forward who can play on both flanks -but most significantly, an ideal candidate to offer competition and an alternative for star wingers Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

The English international has been on the radar for several clubs in the Premier League and is expected to fall down the pecking order as Chelsea welcomes new faces to their squad.

The 23-year-old has been an integral part of Enzo Maresca’s squad over the last campaign, making 41 appearances across all competitions for the Blues.

Madueke featured for the Blues in their first Club World Cup tie, which saw the west London outfit comfortably beat Los Angeles FC 2-0 in Atlanta on Monday.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are set to make some new signings during the summer transfer window, having already welcomed Liam Delap at the start of the month.

Chelsea signed the former Ipswich Town striker for £30 million after meeting the 22-year-old’s relegation release clause.

They will also welcome Brazilian wonderkid Estavao, whom they signed from Palmeiras in the Brasileiro Serie A in a £29 million deal that was agreed in May 2024 – he will join them after the Club World Cup.

Arsenal, on the other hand, are ready to bolster their attacking ranks during the window, with strikers such as Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres, and Alexander Isak linked with the north London club.

Mikel Arteta’s side have also been monitoring the situation of Mohammed Kudus at West Ham, as have Chelsea and Tottenham.

The Ghana international shone amid a difficult season at the London Stadium, but comes with a huge release clause should any side look to secure his services.

Amid links to Saudi Arabian sides at the start of the summer, it was revealed that clubs might have to fork out £85 million for the former Ajax attacker.
