West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus is now at the center of a transfer battle between two London clubs, Chelsea and Arsenal
Arsenal hold talks with West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus

Arsenal continues their search for quality reinforcement, with attention now turned towards West Ham‘s sensational forward Mohammed Kudus.
The Gunners have reportedly held talks with West Ham over a potential deal as Arsenal express interest in the Ghanaian international over a summer move.
Kudus, who is understood to have a €100 million release clause in his West Ham contract, but Mikel Arteta’s side reportedly made it clear during their talks that they have no intention of matching this fee.

Meanwhile, sources close to Arsenal have indicated that the Gunners only value the Ghana international around €55m-€60m.
The 24-year-old is one of several wide players currently under consideration by the Gunners, as they look to revamp their attacking areas – hoping to avoid any unforeseen setbacks that plagued the North London club last season – disappointingly going through almost half of the season without main attacking threats, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.
Kudus has been instrumental for the Hammers since he arrived from Ajax in 2023, and has proved how versatile he can be playing in multiple attacking roles – scoring 19 goals and notching 13 assists in 80 appearances across all competitions.

Aside from Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United have been monitoring the winger, with both clubs in search of a dynamic winger.
Newcastle are keen to sign a player for the right wing. Chelsea, like Arsenal, are prioritising moves for a left-sided player, but Kudus has shown that he is capable of operating on both flanks.
Kudus has seen his transfer value rise drastically since his move to the Premier League, and is likely to remain in the English top flight, having reportedly turned down a move to the Middle East already this summer.
