Bukayo Saka is likely to break the Arsenal Premier League record
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta ‘Optimistic’ Bukayo Saka can break PL Record

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is highly optimistic that superstar Bukayo Saka can break the club’s record of becoming the Gunners’ all-time appearance maker in the Premier League.
Although it’s a little while away, Saka is apparently just 133 games away from achieving such a historic milestone for the North London club.
The England international has emerged from Arsenal’s academy to become a standout performer for the club and is poised to make his 200th Premier League appearance for the club this weekend.

Arteta has heaped praise on the 24-year-old for the “astronomical” numbers he has already reached at such a young age, and saw no reason he couldn’t hit that record if he’s able to sustain the level he’s been at so far.
The Spanish manager and former Arsenal player spoke highly of Saka in his press conference ahead of this Saturday’s clash against West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta praised Bukayo Saka, saying: “100, 101, and 102, hopefully on Sunday! I think that’s in less than 200 games as well, which is a really impressive record.
“That tells you again, when we talk about consistency on attacking players, creative players, that’s very rare to find.
“And at his age, especially, more. But that’s the talent that we have.”
Meanwhile, Saka has been sidelined with injuries and missed a chunk of last season and a few games at the start of this campaign.
This is no surprise, given his extensive football experience from a young age, but Arsenal are now favourably positioned with greater squad depth.
Summer attacking signings, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke, along with the rise of homegrown talent Ethan Nwaneri, could provide Arteta with additional options on the right flank when needed.
Nevertheless, Saka is well-positioned to break a significant Arsenal record, and he will likely be eager to maintain his starting role in as many games as possible moving forward.
