Fabrizio reports that negotiations between Arsenal and Sporting remained solid despite multiple failed attempts to reach an agreement.
Gyokeres has consistently expressed his ambition to play in the Premier League, with Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium as his preferred destination.
Fabrizio notes that Arsenal are now prepared to meet Sporting CP president Frederico Varandas’ initial demand of €70 million(£60m) plus €10 million(£5m) in add-ons.

In the last two seasons, Gyokeres has scored 97 goals in 102 appearances for Sporting, and he is set to become Arsenal’s new starting striker.
