Partey is currently assessing all options on the table
Arsenal prepared to offer Thomas Partey new contract with different salary structure

Arsenal are ready to offer Thomas Partey a new contract featuring a revised salary structure compared to his current deal, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Ghanaian midfielder is currently assessing all options on the table, but Arsenal are now keen on keeping him at the club and are pushing to extend his stay.
Partey’s current contract with Arsenal is set to expire at the end of this season, with many previously expecting the 31-year-old to leave the Emirates Stadium as a free agent this summer.

However, Partey is having his best season since joining the Gunners from Atletico Madrid in 2020 for over £40million.
The Ghanaian has racked up 46 appearances across all competitions, playing a pivotal role in Arsenal’s successful Champions League quarter-final victories over Real Madrid.

Partey has attracted significant interest from abroad, with Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, and Juventus reportedly keen on securing his services. Additionally, there are rumours of interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.
Despite this, preliminary talks regarding a potential contract extension have already taken place.
Partey is reportedly open to signing a new one-year deal with an option for a further 12-month extension.

Meanwhile, manager Mikel Arteta recently hinted that he would be open to Partey remaining at the club.
When asked about progress on a new contract for Partey, Arteta responded: “Yes, there is progress with all the players. I’ll leave that to Andrea and the club to decide and to talk about.”
When pressed if Arsenal’s intention is to keep Partey, Arteta added: “The intention is very clear.”
