The deal is subject to the approval of his work permit.

A statement on the club’s website stated,

‘The 27-year-old joins from Hafia FC and brings with him experience at the highest level of African club football, having featured in both the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.

Donzo stands at 1.82m and is known for his strength, pace, and ability to play across the front line.

Primarily a centre forward, he is equally comfortable operating on either wing and offers Kotoko added firepower going into the new season.

Speaking to Kotoko media, Donzo said, “I was eager to make this move last season, but sometimes football doesn’t go the way you plan. Better late than never.

I’ve spoken with Amos Frimpong who was always convincing me to come, I have also spoken with Mo (Camara) and Joe (Ablorh) and both had nothing but positive things to say about the club. I’m here now, ready to give everything, and make a name for myself in front of these fans.”

Donzo has already joined his new teammates in training ahead of the GHALCA Top four tournament scheduled for later this month.

Rondo previously featured for FC Sequence in Guinea before joining Hafia Club in 2022.
