Aston Villa reach agreement with midfielder Morgan Rogers to extend contract

Aston Villa have reportedly reached an “agreement in principle” to extend the contract of attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers, beyond 2030, amid interest from Premier League rivals Chelsea and other notable clubs in Europe.

The English international has reportedly agreed on a new deal to extend his contract, according to David Ornstein of The Athletic.

Rogers is expected to put pen to paper on an additional one-year contract, having only signed an extension until 2030 last year.
