Barcelona are planning a move to replace 36-year-old striker Robert Lewandowski
Barcelona reveal plan to replace Robert Lewandowski

Barcelona have revealed plans to replace their aging striker Robert Lewandowski with a world-class forward at the end of the 2025-26 season, despite their financial situation.
Barcelona are preparing Lewandowski’s exit plan in 2026 amid fears over the transfer budget and salary limit to replace the Poland striker.
According to a report from SPORT (h/t Football Espana), Barcelona are planning to part ways with Lewandowski in 2026 to sign a new world-class goal scorer.
Despite questions raised over his age, Lewandowski has been impressive this season, surpassing his goal tally from the previous two years in Blaugrana colours.

While no official confirmation has been received yet, reports suggest Barcelona have agreed to extend his contract for next season, following a clause that triggered an automatic renewal if he played 45 minutes in half of their games the current season.
Barcelona are faced with the challenge of finding a replacement, with Ferran Torres showing signs of improvement but lacking the same profile as Lewandowski.

This leaves them without a traditional striker should he leave when his new deal expires.
Growing concerns over Barca’s financial crisis have raised questions over the club’s ability to suitably replace the former Bayern Munich star.
Several names have popped up, linking them with a move to the Spanish giants with Barca preparing for life after Lewandowski.

Recent reports have linked the La Liga leaders with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, but the club has reportedly declined due to his high wages and €75m transfer fee.
Newcastle United Forward Alexander Isak, who has been prolific this season, has his name mentioned in secret, however, there have been no major developments regarding either player at this time.
Lewandowski has proven to be an iconic figure, with 38 goals in 43 appearances in all competitions to his name in the season.
