Anthony’s performance in Spain has ignited serious interest from top clubs
Bayer Leverkusen set eyes on Man United flop Anthony

Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly set its eyes on Manchester United flop Anthony after starring on loan with Spanish side Real Betis.
Leverkusen would want to capitalize on the Brazilian’s current situation at Old Trafford, hoping to reunite him with his former manager, Erik ten Hag, who recently signed for the German club.
Anthony signed for the Red Devils in 2022 for a little over £80 million and played under Ten Hag’s leadership.

Despite his lackluster performance in the Premier League for United, Anthony revealed a different side of his game while playing in Spain, where he excelled under veteran manager Manuel Pellegrini.
The 25-year-old winger is now being evaluated as a potential addition by his former manager in the Bundesliga, as revealed by Sky Sports Germany.
While Leverkusen’s interest in Antony is still at an early stage, the Dutchman’s familiarity with the skillful winger could be a decisive factor should talks progress.

Antony’s performance in Spain has reignited interest in his talent. The winger scored nine goals in 24 starts across all competitions, establishing himself as a key player in Betis’ campaign, leading them to the final of the Conference League.
Leverkusen are reportedly negotiating a move with Liverpool for their talented attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz, which has ignited interest in Antony.
The German international has emerged as one of the most sought-after young midfielders in Europe, with Liverpool leading the race to sign him -the Premier League champions have already tabled an initial offer in the region of £105 million.

However, the Bundesliga giants are holding out for £126 million. A fee that could potentially make the 22-year-old the highest British transfer ever – a position currently being held by Chelsea, after signing Moises Caceido.
Should that deal go through, Leverkusen will need to act swiftly to fill the creative void Wirtz would leave behind.
Aside from Levekusen, Italian giants Juventus, ar also believed to be monitoring his situation for a potential move.
The Serie A club placed the winger on their radar earlier in 2025 and are reportedly considering whether to move ahead with their interest with a concrete bid.
