Confirming the transfer, Göztepe released a statement on their official website:
“Within the scope of the new season, our club signed contracts with Nevzat Tan Masızel, Salem Bouajila, Zakaria Tindano, and Prince Manu Balladom.
We welcome our young players to Göztepe, and wish them a career full of successes under our glorious uniform.”
Balladom is expected to begin with the club’s U19 side, with plans for a gradual promotion to the senior team.
The Ghana U20 international has already built a reputation as a prolific goal-scorer. He netted over 50 goals in the past three seasons for Benab FC, including 15 goals last season despite missing several matches due to national team duties.
Before completing his switch to Turkey, Balladom had attracted strong interest from abroad, with links to AC Horsens (Denmark), Royal Antwerp (Belgium), and FC Copenhagen (Denmark).
On the international stage, he featured for Ghana’s U20 team at the 2024 WAFU B Championship in Cote D’Ivoire, and was also part of the U19 squad that recently played a series of friendlies in Switzerland.
Balladom has already linked up with his new teammates in Turkey as they prepare for a clash against Besiktas.
