The Black Damsels of Ghana have secured a spot in the final of the third edition of the CAF African Schools Football Championship after a thrilling 3-2 win over South Africa on Friday at the University of Ghana Stadium.

Jennifer Awuku opened the scoring for Ghana just seven minutes into the match, giving the Black Damsels an early lead. However, Lisa Kayanka equalized for South Africa just before halftime, setting up a tense encounter.

But Captain Hajara Adam stole the show with a stunning goal from nearly the centerline two minutes after half-time.

Rahama Mohammed further extended Ghana’s lead with a beautifully curled shot in the 29th minute, although South Africa managed to pull one back.

Despite the pressure from the South African team, the Black Damsels held firm to secure a 3-2 win and a place in the final. They will now face Uganda on Saturday, April 26, in what promises to be an exciting encounter.
