Black Queens to face England in high-profile international friendly

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that the Black Queens will lock horns with the Lionesses of England in a high-profile international friendly on December 2, 2025, following an agreement with the England Football Association.
Fresh from their semi-final run at the 2024 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (WAFCON), the Queens are determined to build on that success as they prepare for upcoming international assignments, including the 2026 WAFCON.

The clash against England one of the world’s top ranked teams and reigning European champions will serve as a stern test for Ghana. It is expected to sharpen the squad, offer invaluable experience, and further strengthen the Queens’ competitive edge on the global stage.
