Kofi Adams is under pressure to disclose the Budget for Ghana’s last two games.
Black Stars budget will be revealed in due course – Sports Minister

The Minister for Sports, Kofi Adams, has assured Ghanaians that the budget for the Black Stars’ recent matches against Chad and Madagascar will be made public in due course.
Speaking on Channel One TV, Adams explained that the budget is still in draft form and it’s unfair to make it public at this stage.

Adams emphasized his commitment to transparency in sports finances, saying, “You will know it when the time comes. I’m saying that I will make it public.”
He assured that the Ghana Football Association will present a budget for future matches on time, adding, “There’s no way I’m going to allow the Ghana Football Association to delay in presentation of a budget for the September round of matches.”
The Minister’s comments comes amid growing scrutiny of the Ghana Football Association’s financial dealings.
Adams also downplayed the issue of mafia at the Ghana Football Association, saying, “I have heard that, but I haven’t seen it since coming here. It’s been normal business for me. We all have our style. And the reaction is sometimes based on the action.
“Maybe my action is not generating that type of reaction that has been seen in the past, but it’s given me results,” he added.
“I wouldn’t say it’s mafia, but I heard they say it’s mafia.
“Everybody warns you to be careful, they are this, they are that. I haven’t truly seen what they have been telling me – that they can set you up with money and what have you.”
The Black Stars are set to face Comoros and Mali in their upcoming fixtures in September.
The team has already played Chad and Madagascar, winning 5-0 against Chad in Accra and 3-0 against Madagascar in Morocco.
