Kelleher is eager for regular first-team football
Brentford express interest in signing Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher

Brentford have made an approach to Liverpool regarding the signing of goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, while Bayer Leverkusen move closer to securing the services of Mark Flekken, according to Sky Sports.
The west London club are open to selling Flekken to the German side, who recently appointed Erik ten Hag as manager.
Brentford have shown interest in Kelleher for some time, dating back to before their signing of Flekken.

However, the Premier League champions have only become willing to consider offers for the 26-year-old since securing Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia last summer.
Kelleher is eager for regular first-team football, but with Mamardashvili’s arrival, it is the Georgian goalkeeper who is expected to challenge Alisson for the starting spot next season.

“I think I’ve said it before as well that I feel like I’m good enough to be a number one,” Kelleher said after Liverpool were crowned Premier League champions last week.
“I feel like I’m good enough to play week in, week out – and that’s what I’m looking to do.
“This season I was lucky enough to play a lot of games, but it’s definitely something I’m looking at.”
While several clubs have expressed interest in Kelleher, Brentford are reportedly in the strongest position.
The two clubs share a good relationship, having completed the transfer of Sepp van den Berg and Fabio Carvalho from Liverpool last summer.
Kelleher has been instrumental for the Reds, delivering a starring performance in the 2022 Carabao Cup final, including scoring a penalty in the shootout victory over Chelsea.
With Alisson facing injury problems, the Republic of Ireland international has often stepped up under pressure, making a total of 67 appearances for the club.
