Bruno Fernandes explains Kevin De Bruyne’s impact on the Premier League
Bruno Fernandes says ‘De Bruyne made the Premier League better’

Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes has heaped loads of praise on Manchester City legend Kevin De Bruyne, stating that the Belgian has elevated the Premier League.
Fernandes since joining Man United has been tipped as a rival of De Bruyne, as both midfielders created many opportunities that propelled their teams to victory.
On Sunday afternoon, Bruno and De Bruyne faced off in the Manchester derby for one last time after the Belgian revealed he’s set to leave Manchester City come end of the season.
Speaking to the press after the goalless stalemate in Manchester on Sunday night, Fernandes didn’t hold back his praise for De Bruyne, calling him a ‘fantastic’ player who took the league to a whole new level over his 10-year-tenure as a Cityzen.
“Kevin De Bruyne made the Premier League better. If Man City is where they are and Manchester United hasn’t won as much trophies as them in the period, it’s also because of Kevin De Bruyne”, he said.
“He is a fantastic player who deserves all the credit for the work he has done”, Bruno added.
De Bruyne is headed away from the Premier League and Manchester for good, yet he can keep his head high, knowing he shattered records and won every title possible.
