Cristiano Ronaldo receives Guinness World Record award for most international wins

Cristiano Ronaldo has been recognized by the Guinness World Record for most international wins (132) in history.
He was presented with the award at the José Alvalade Stadium as Portugal host Denmark in the second-leg of the quarter-final encounter of the Nations League.
Portugal who lost the first leg will look to make amends with the fans behind them at the 50,000-capacity Stadium – home of Sporting Clube de Portugal.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a record-breaking 135 goals in 218 appearances for the Portugal national team, making him the all-time leading scorer in men’s international football.
He also holds the record for most international appearances for Portugal. Ronaldo made his Portugal debut on August 20, 2003, against Kazakhstan.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward scored his first international goal on June 12, 2004, during a UEFA Euro 2004 group stage match against Greece.

The 40 years old who ply his trade for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, will go on to score 93 goals in 103 matches since joining the Riyadh-based club.
Renowned transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on his X(Twitter) page posted Ronaldo who received his award before the game against Denmark kicked off.
