Oliver Glasner could potentially replace Ruben Amorim as Man United Manager
Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner linked with Man United role

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has been heavily linked with taking over the role as the next manager for the struggling Manchester United, should the axe be wielded on Ruben Amorim, per the reports.
Glasner has been sensational for the Eagles since he arrived from the German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt two seasons ago.
He guided Palace to win their first-ever major trophy after 164 years, beating Manchester City in the FA Cup final last season. The historic triumph qualified the team for its first European competition in the history of the club.

Palace further defeated Premier League champions Liverpool to win the FA Community Shield three months later, securing their second consecutive trophy and adding another to their cabinet.
Before moving to England, Glasner also won the Europa League with Frankfurt, which eventually landed him the Palace job.
The Austrian manager is now rumoured to be an ideal candidate to replace Amorim at Old Trafford, following the abysmal performance by the club under the Portuguese manager, according to Mirror Sport.

Meanwhile, Glasner has reportedly turned down a latest contract offer from Palace, fueling even more speculations of a potential switch to United.
United, however, have backed their manager by offering a vote of confidence, and remain committed to Amorim ahead of a crunch match against Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.
Suggestions have been raised about Glasner’s high quality as a manager, and the need to move on to the next level by taking on a “bigger club” in England – and the United job, however, maybe a challenging one to take on, but could also be a dream job to turn down.
Palace would have to be extremely convincing by presenting him with an extraordinary contract with additional release clauses to keep him at Selhurst Park.
Indeed, there’s an expected managerial shift, and it will be no surprise to see the 51-year-old continue his managerial role with the Red Devils once a change in the dugout springs up.
Glasner will be right in the mix for the hot seat at United to steer what is seen as a sinking ship at Old Trafford. He has lost just 15 of his 71 matches in charge of the Eagles.
Palace are enjoying their football under Glasner, with a good start in the Premier League. They are 3rd in the league standings after just six games into the new campaign, and unbeaten in all competitions so far.
They will take on Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv away in the Europa Conference League. Glasner will be hoping to guide his side to their first European win on Thursday at 4:30 pm.
