Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has tipped River Plate youngster Franco Mastantuono to make a move to Europe.
Fernandez has backed the teenage sensation to make a switch to a top European club after impressing in Argentina, with Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Manchester United monitoring the 17-year-old wonderkid.
Fernandez, speaking to ESPN, after being asked about the player’s prospects. The Argentinian spoke highly of his young compatriot, calling Mastantuono “an incredible player.”

Fernandez said: “He’s showing that he has a European future. You can see it.
“He’s an incredible player. He’s doing very well and has shown great talent. In my opinion, he’s a star.
“I wish him the best and hope he can achieve all his goals. Hopefully he can also help us in the national team.”
However, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Chelsea are rumoured to be interested in the player.
It is reported that the player has a release clause in his current contract at River until December 2027, set at €45m.

The Argentina Under-20 international has been in fine form in the season so far, scoring three goals and providing two assists in his 12 appearances for the Buenos Aires club.
The Blues’ attacking midfielder may want to lure the youngster to Stamford Bridge.
However, Chelsea will likely struggle to secure the services of such talent if they’re unable to address their financial issues.
Qualifying for next season’s Champions League will become even more crucial; Chelsea have the toughest run-in of the clubs vying for a spot in England’s top five.
