FK Spartak Subotica sign Ghanaian defender Kudu Shama Abdul

Serbian Super Liga side FK Spartak Subotica have completed the signing of Ghanaian youngster Kudu Shama Abdul on a four-year contract.
The 19-year-old defender joins from Ghanaian lower-tier side Benab FC after successful negotiations between the two clubs.

Abdul, who has been a standout performer since his promotion from Benab’s youth ranks, is now set to embrace a new challenge in Serbia as he continues his career development.
A statement on Spartak Subotica’s official website read:

“Introducing a new name in the ranks of Spartak of Foal Blood Kudu Shama Abdul! The player featured for Benab Club from Ghana last season. The Ghana U19 international plays as a stopper. He signed a four-year contract with Spartak. Welcome Abdul! We wish you much success in the blue and white jersey!”
At Benab FC, Abdul played a pivotal role in helping the club qualify twice for the Ashanti Regional Division Two Middle League.
His performances also earned him a call-up to the Ghana U19 national team, where he continues to develop his talent.
Kudu Shama Abdul will wear the number 22 jersey at Spartak.
