Minister of Education Haruna Iddrisu in a shocking revelation in Ghana’s Parliament described the state of harm associated with the current Black Stars team in a disappointing mode.
He indicated his displeasure with the poor performance from the four-time African Champions lately, charging them to pick up all three points in their home encounter with underdogs Chad in their World Cup 2026 Qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, 21 March 2025.
The Black Stars failed to make the cut for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be staged in Morocco, exiting the expanded (24 nations) competition, and are without a win in their last six games across all competitions.

“We need nothing but a win (against Chad). It is disappointing that the Black Stars couldn’t qualify for the 2025 AFCON. The Black Stars have failed to win in their last six matches,” Adams said.
The Member of Parliament for Tamale South still in a state of dismay couldn’t hide behind the curtains – he made it known, expressing his disappointment and that of his fellow Ghanaians, he further stated,

The Black Stars host Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday before facing Madagascar three days later in Morocco. Ghana is joint top of the 2026 World Cup qualifying table with nine points alongside Comoros.
