The National U15 male team has gotten off to a flying start in the ongoing Mondialito tournament in Eilat, Israel, securing victories in their first two matches.

Coach Yaw Preko’s side thrashed Maccabi Tel Aviv’s U15 team 4-1 in the first match, followed by an impressive 8-0 win over Maccabi Bnei Eilat.

With these two crucial wins, Ghana’s chances of advancing to the final, scheduled for Saturday night, have significantly improved.

The team will face Maccabi Petah Tikva and Hapoel Petah Tikva on Saturday, April 5, 2025, with their sights firmly set on the trophy.

The Mondialito tournament is renowned for promoting cultural exchange and soccer excellence, with over 1,000 past participants going on to become professional footballers.
