Vinicius Jr has revealed that the Brazilian national team means a great deal to him, insisting he loves to see the country’s fans happy because of the supports he’s received from them over the years.
On Friday, Vinicius netted the winner for Brazil in injury time to move them into second place on the South American World Cup qualification standings having had a rough past year for the record winners of the Mondial.

Speaking to the media after the game, Vinicius said: “I think I deserved this goal for everything I’ve worked for. I owe a lot to the national team for everything they’ve done for me, and what my teammates do for me every day. I’m so happy! And I love to see Brazilians happy.”
Vinicius’ crucial winner against Columbia had him record his sixth goal for Brazil in 38 appearances, a number he’s sure to improve in the coming years.

Up next, Brazil take on Argentina on March 25 at the Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires, and Vinicius Jr will be aiming to come up clutch for Brazil once again.
