This generous act comes after Asare’s recent viral video, which showed him riding in a commercial vehicle after his Black Stars debut, sparked widespread criticism online.
However, Alhaji Adongo’s gift serves as a testament to Asare’s exceptional skills on the pitch.
Asare expressed his gratitude, thanking the supporters, coaches, and the entire nation for the opportunity.
“I thank everyone who has supported me. God willing, we will make Ghana proud at the World Cup,” he added.
Asare’s rise to prominence has been nothing short of remarkable.
After earning his maiden call-up to the Black Stars, he made an unforgettable debut, keeping a clean sheet in Ghana’s resounding 5-0 triumph over Chad.
He followed it up with another impressive display in the team’s victory over Madagascar.

His impressive performances have earned him a huge vote of confidence from head coach Otto Addo, who has confirmed him as the Black Stars’ first-choice goalkeeper.
Asare will now be expected to guard the posts when Ghana takes on Chad and Mali in the next round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September.
Asare has been instrumental in Hearts of Oak’s success this season, keeping an impressive 15 clean sheets in 24 games.
Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara praised Asare, urging him to continue performing at the highest level.
“I’ll advise Asare to make the most of this gift and remember that his abilities on the pitch earned him this recognition. Ghana is a football powerhouse, and we expect nothing but excellence from our players,” Ouattara said.
This gesture not only motivates Asare but also highlights the impact of his performances on and off the pitch.
