Hearts of Oak to host Medeama at Accra Sports Stadium

The Phobians are in desperate need of a win to get back in the title challenge

Hearts of Oak are set to return to their usual home grounds, the Accra Sports Stadium, for their next Ghana Premier League (GPL) fixture against Medeama SC on Sunday, April 6.

The Phobians are in desperate need of a win to get back in the title challenge after failing to win their last four games.

The team’s return to the Accra Sports Stadium comes after a temporary relocation to the Tuba Astro Turf, where they suffered a defeat to Nations FC thanks to a superb winner by Black Stars defender, Razack Simpson.

The relocation was necessitated by the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) decision to host the 2025 CAF Schools competition at the University of Ghana Stadium.

However, following fruitful engagements between Hearts of Oak and the National Sports Authority (NSA), the Phobians will host Medeama at their traditional home ground with strict measures in place.

Hearts fans will get to witness the match against Medeama at the Accra Sports Stadium, and the team will be determined to return to winning ways.

A win against Medeama is crucial for Hearts of Oak, as anything less than a victory will bring an end to their title dreams.

The Phobians will need to put up a strong performance to overcome their opponents and get back on track.
