Ebony is returning to the Division One League after many years.

Serbian SuperLiga side OFK Beograd’s winger Henry Addo has gifted a brand-new bus to his boyhood club, Ebony FC, following their historic qualification to the 2025/26 Ghana National Division One League.

Addo, who is currently on loan at Beograd from Maccabi Tel Aviv, presented the club with a bus valued at $50,000 to support their maiden campaign in the second tier.

Upon receiving the gift, Ebony FC expressed immense gratitude to their former player.

We at Ebony Football Club want to express our heartfelt gratitude to our former player, Henry Addo, and his family for providing us with a bus to make our maiden #AccessBankDOL campaign easier.
Your kindness means a great deal to us, and we are truly grateful for your generosity. Thank you 🙏🏿.”

Ebony FC sealed promotion after a 2-1 victory over Benab FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, capping off a remarkable journey for the Kumasi-based side.

Addo began his career at Ebony FC before moving to Zilina Africa, then progressing to MSK Zilina in Slovenia.

His impressive displays earned him a move to Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he lifted the Israeli League title, and later secured a loan move to OFK Beograd in Serbia.
