Pablo Gavira has revealed his ambitions to complete his football career at Barca after rising through the ranks of their academy called La Masia.

Widely regarded as the ‘soul of Barca’, Gavi has been a core part of the Blaugrana over the last few years, winning duels in midfield, while contributing to defense and attack.

Now, the 20-year-old says he dreams of ending his career at Barcelona while winning a dozen of titles.

Speaking to the media ahead of Barca’s UEFA Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund, Gavi explained his plans for the future, insisting that it has got Barca written all over it.

“Of course, I would like to retire at Barca. You never know in football but I would sign up for it. It is true that many things happen in football like injuries but I would definitely love to end my career here”, he said.

Pablo Gavi returned this season from a 10-month ACL injury and remains a crucial part of Hansi Flick’s squad this campaign. He will be aiming to get back to his very best in the coming years to maintain his place as a regular in a Barca shirt.
