Pep Guardiola admitted that replacing De Bruyne at Man City will be “almost impossible”.
Guardiola said: “I want the best for Kevin so it cannot be possible to have done these many years without him.
“He has been an incredible player but the situation is what it is. It’s almost impossible to replace this kind of player.
“It is not just the performance, it is what he means to the heart for our fans for many, many years. The success we have belongs to the players.”
De Bruyne made 422 appearances, scored 108 goals, and provided 177 assists for Man City across all competitions.

During his stay at the Etihad Stadium, he clinched 16 trophies, including the Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, Champions League, Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup.
De Bruyne will link up with Belgium team-mate Romelu Lukaku, as well as ex-Premier League players like Scott McTominay and Billy Gilmour.
