The Porcupine Warriors make a strong comeback after their exit from the Confederation Cup.
Kotoko bounce back with 4-2 win over Karela United

Asante Kotoko responded to their CAF Confederation Cup exit in style with a commanding 4-2 victory over Karela United on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
A brace from Hubert Gyau and goals from Seth Kwadwo and Amidu Acquah sealed a big win for the Porcupine Warriors.

Kotoko started brightly and went ahead after just five minutes when Hubert Gyau smashed home Patrick Asiedu’s cross. Karela, however, drew level soon after through Bless Ege’s penalty.
The hosts regained their lead in the 22nd minute, with Gyau curling home a fine finish inside the box. Ten minutes later, Seth Kwadwo made it 3-1 to Kotoko.
Kotoko continued to dominate and created several chances but failed to extend their lead before halftime.
After the break, the Porcupine Warriors kept up the pressure, with Donzo Morifing and Saaka Dauda both coming close. Their efforts were rewarded in the 61st minute when Amidu Acquah scored from a tight angle to make it 4-1.
Karela reduced the deficit through Yaya Raman, but Kotoko remained in control until the final whistle.
The win marks a strong response from Kotoko following their continental disappointment and gives them a timely boost in the Ghana Premier League campaign.
Kotoko, despite having three outstanding games, currently sits in eighth place with 11 points after playing five matches.
They will travel to Accra on Sunday to face their arch-rival Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
