Oppong made his debut in the Toyota Cup against South African giants Kaizer Chiefs but has struggled to secure regular minutes since.
He started only one game in the GHALCA Top Four against Heart of Lions and was left out of the matchday squad in the clash with Hearts of Oak.
With the transfer window set to close soon, the Porcupine Warriors are weighing their options, with Ibrahim Sulley, Walid Fuseini, and Evans Osei Wusu all emerging as possible reinforcements.
The 27-year-old attacker joined Kotoko with a wealth of experience both locally and abroad.
He previously starred for Dreams FC during their historic CAF Confederation Cup semi-final run and enjoyed stints in Europe with C.S. Marítimo (Portugal), FC Zlín (Czech Republic), and KF Kukësi (Albania)
