Liverpool agree deal to sign Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez

According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez.
Despite having won the Premier League title, the Reds are not resting on their laurels.
The club have moved swiftly to address key positions, with Jeremie Fripong already brought in to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is set to join Real Madrid.

With Andy Roberson linked with a move to Atletico Madrid this summer, Kerkez has emerged as a top target.
Plettenberg posted on X: “Milos #Kerkez to Liverpool is considered to be a done deal!
“A full agreement has now been reached with Bournemouth, as the final details have been clarified. Long-term contract.
“The medical is already being prepared and is expected to take place next week, if everything goes according to plan.”
Bournemouth have signed Rennes left-back Adrien Truffert as Kerkez’s replacement.
The Hungary international, who has three years left on his contract, is determined to move to Anfield.
The 21-year-old joined Bournemouth from AZ Alkmaar in 2023 and has since racked up 74 appearances, scored two goals, and provided eight assists across all competitions.

Last season, he featured in all 38 Premier League games as the Cherries finished 9th. In total, he made 41 appearances, netted twice, and registered six assists.
Kerkez, who has been valued at around £45m earlier, admitted he is humbled by transfer links to Liverpool.
“Of course, something always leaks into the news,” he told MLSZ TV.
“I don’t know how. At the same time, I think it’s normal that if you play well and the team does well, then you get into the news and end up on the front page, and everyone talks about you.
“I see this as fuel that drives me forward. All this doesn’t break me, but it doesn’t ‘boost’ my ego either, but it teaches me humility and motivates me.”
