Liverpool have already lost eight in their last 11 games across all competitions
Liverpool chiefs to hold crunch talks with manager Arne Slot

Liverpool are reportedly set to hold crucial talks with manager Arne Slot following a series of poor performances by the team, including the recent 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest at Anfield over the weekend.
Liverpool are now languishing in 11th position on the Premier League table, having already lost eight out of their eleven fixtures in all competitions this season.
The outcome of the weekend’s game against Forest has raised more eyebrows, mounting pressure on the Slot, with reports indicating that his time at Anfield may come to an end sooner than expected if things don’t turn around.

According to a well-placed source on X, club bosses are livid over the team’s alarming slump and fully aware that the current performances are nowhere near acceptable.
This, per further reports, has warranted a scheduled urgent meeting in the next 24 hours between the club hierarchy and the Dutch manager.
However, this supposed meeting is not a call for the manager’s head, but an urgent one to put the 47-year-old on his toes, while they still believe Slot is the right man technically.
The upcoming meeting is expected to be a final warning, where the board will “ask for immediate improvement of results.”

The message from the board is a direct one. Slot will be backed—for now. But the insider warns that unless results improve sharply in the coming weeks, replacing the head coach will move from possibility to probability. His once-secure position is now hanging by a thread.
With pressure mounting, names such as Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola, Real Manager Xabi Alonso, and former Reds manager Jurgen Klopp are already circulating.
It will be interesting to see who steps into the Anfield hot seat if Slot doesn’t survive the winter transfer window.
