Liverpool are keen on adding Nico Williams to their already deadly frontline
Liverpool poised to sign Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams

Liverpool are reportedly keen on securing a move for Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams, as they continue to revamp under manager Arne Slot after winning the Premier League in his first season.
According to a report from Fichajes, the Reds are poised to sign the Spanish international to complete their dream attacking front-three.
The 23-year-old winger has proved his quality for both club and country. Nico Williams bagged 11 goals and provided seven assists in the Spanish La Liga last season, and could prove to be an important acquisition for Slot’s side.

The report further claims that Liverpool could be willing to offer around €75 million in order to get the deal done.
Liverpool sees Nico as one of the most talented youngsters in Europe, and at his age, he could even improve further with coaching and experience.
The Premier League champions need a quality winger like him, and he could prove to be a significant addition to the squad, after the club failed to replace Luiz Diaz, who joined Bayern Munich at the start of the season.

They still lack a genuine dribbler, with directness and sharpness, as well as a ball carrier since his departure, and Cody Gakpo has failed to provide the team with the necessary width and dribbling skills going forward.
Nico’s direct playing style could be a valuable addition to Slot’s team. His skill in one-on-one duels, combined with his ability to outpace and go past defenders with flair, will bring much-needed unpredictability to Liverpool’s attacking lineup.
The prospect of playing in the Premier League could excite the player. Despite interest from Barcelona and Premier League giants Arsenal in the summer transfer window, the Basque-born prodigy chose to remain with Bilbao in Spain.
Given his young age, he has ample time to build on his already successful career. Moving to Liverpool would mark a significant step up, offering him the chance to play for one of the world’s premier clubs.
Liverpool have consistently competed for the league title and the UEFA Champions League, providing an ideal platform to help him realise his ambitions.
