Diaz has two years remaining on his current contract
Luis Diaz set for contract talks with Liverpool amid transfer interest

According to Sky Sports News, Luis Diaz will enter discussions with Liverpool at the end of the season regarding the extension of his contract.
The Colombian forward marked his 100th Premier League appearance last Sunday by scoring the opening goal in Liverpool’s 5-1 victory over Tottenham, which secured their 20th league title at Anfield.
Diaz, who has two years remaining on his current contract, is set to meet with his representatives and the club this summer to negotiate new terms.

Barcelona have long been interested in the 28-year-old, and there have been rumours linking him with a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League.
This season’s title is Diaz’s 14th major trophy in his career.
He scored 14 goals as Liverpool clinched the Premier League for the first time since the 2019-20 season, and only Mohamed Salah created more chances than he did.
Diaz joined Liverpool from Porto in January 2022 for an initial fee of £37million. In his four seasons at Anfield, he has won the Premier League, the FA Cup, and two League Cups.
Before his move to Liverpool, Diaz won two league titles and two Portuguese Cups at Porto, and he has claimed every major domestic trophy in Colombia.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has expressed uncertainty over whether Diaz should sign a new contract with the club.
“It’s an interesting one, where I think you could flip a coin with some people saying they’d love him to sign a new contract and some say it might be the time where you get good money for him because he’s at a good age,” Carragher said.
“I think Luis Diaz been one of the best left-wingers in the Premier League this season. I don’t think he’s quite Sadio Mane, so I think Liverpool supporters are actually still thinking we haven’t quite replaced Mane, but how many of them is there about?
