Mallam Yahaya appointed new Techiman Liberty coach

Division One League team, Techiman Liberty, has appointed former Black Stars midfielder Mallam Yahaya as the club’s new head coach.
The former Nzema Kotoko and Wassaman United gaffer takes over the vacant coaching job following the resignation of Isaac Nii Armah.

Mallam has joined the Techiman-based team after ending his contract with Bekwai Heroes, which is now known as Ashantigold SC..

A statement on the club’s Facebook page stated,
“We are pleased to announce to our cherished fans that Coach Mallam Yahaya joins us as the head coach for one football season.
The former King Faisal, Elmina Sharks, Conner Stone, New Edubiase, Unistars FC, Nzema Kotoko, and Future Stars gaffer leads us for the 2025/26 DOL.
The former Ghanaian international and Dortmund player comes with a lot of experience in the game.”
Mallam Yahaya has been tasked to lead the club to a Premier League qualification after missing out on the qualification playoffs twice.
Techiman Liberty finished second in the Zone 1B League standings behind Premier League new entrant Eleven Wonders.
They will be aiming to push harder to earn promotion in the 2025/26 League campaign.
Mallam Yahaya brings extensive experience from managing King Faisal, Elmina Sharks, Future Stars, and Bekwai Heroes.
