Manchester United are revealed to be among a pack of Premier League suitors vying for the signature of Chelsea forward Christopher Nkuku over a summer move, per journalist Anthony Chapman.

The Red Devils are reportedly planning on making another move for the French forward after failing to acquire his signature in the January transfer window.

Nkuku, is said to have convinced United manager Ruben Amorim, and former Sporting CP boss is optimistic about a potential summer signing for the experienced Premier League player.

His Premier League experience makes him a good candidate for Amorim’s plans, as he seek to rebuild the the “broken Old Trafford wall” next summer.

Nkuku signed for Chelsea for a fee in the region of £52 from German side RB Leipzig in 2023, with very high potential, but has since failed to live up to the billing – now pushing for an exit from Stamford Bridge in the summer.

According to Chapman, competition for Nkunku’s signature is expected to be fierce this summer, with as many as six Premier League and European clubs chasing after the France international.

AS the summer transfer window approaches rapidly, clubs such as Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham, and Manchester United are mentioned as some of his admirers in England.

Despite the 27-year-old’s many suitors in England, Champions League finalists Paris Saint-Germain and La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are also said to be monitoring his situation closely.

However, Enzo Maresca’s side are aware of the harm that could be done if they sell to direct rivals in the Premier League – preferring to ship him out to a club abroad.

The attacker has endured a frustrating season since his arrival with the Blues – making just nine Premier League appearances and scoring three goals in the current campaign.

Nkuku, who rereives £300,000-a-week, last featured in Chelsea’s shock Conference League quarter-final second-leg loss at home to Legia Warsaw in April and remains sidelined with a knock.

Man United are reportedly keen on bringing in attacking reinforcements early this summer and are in advanced talks to make Wolves forward Matheus Cunha, who is said to have agreed to sign for United their first summer signing.
