Marcus Rashford seeks ‘special treatment’ in bid to save season

Marcus will have to seek special treatment in the Middle East to save his season

Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford has reportedly flown to the Middle East for a rehabilitation programme in a bid to save his season.

Marcus Rashford will reportedly undergo special treatment as the Aston Villa forward attempts to make a rapid return from a hamstring injury in a desperate attempt to save his season.

The English international suffered a hamstring injury last month, which is expected to rule him out for the season.

However, the 27-year-old is claimed to be targeting a return this term, with The Sun indicating he has flown to Dubai for a warm-weather rehab programme to speed up his recovery.

Rashford has not yet discussed his future and is unlikely to do so until mid-June

Rashford moved from United to Villa on loan in early February in a bid to gain back his confidence by playing in a new environment.

Since then, he has shown flashes of quality, something Red Devils fans have not seen for a while at Old Trafford.

The Clarets and Blue have the option to buy him permanently for £40m this summer, but it remains to be seen if they will exercise that power or allow him to go elsewhere.

Rashford, whose high-paying United contract runs until 2028, has scored four goals while providing five assists during his 17-game loan spell at Villa.
