Mohamed Salah signs new Liverpool deal

Mohamed Salah has signed a new contract that will keep him at Liverpool until 2027, ending months of speculation over his future at the club.
The Egyptian forward, who is enjoying yet another stellar season, has committed to extending his Anfield stay by putting pen to paper on a fresh deal.
Salah has been in outstanding form this campaign, scoring 32 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.

Of those, 27 have come in the Premier League, making him the division’s top scorer. He has also provided 22 assists, underlining his all-round attacking contribution.
Today’s announcement means Salah is set to extend his already impressive eight-year spell at Liverpool, as he continues to play a key role under Arne Slot in the club’s pursuit of major honours.
He told Liverpoolfc.com: “Of course I’m very excited. We have a great team now. Before also we had a great team. But I signed because I think we have a chance to win other trophies and enjoy my football.
“It’s great, I had my best years here. I played eight years, hopefully it’s going to be 10. Enjoying my life here, enjoying my football. I had the best years in my career.”

A Modern-Day Liverpool Legend
Since arriving from AS Roma in the summer of 2017, Mohamed Salah has firmly established himself as a Liverpool legend.
With an extraordinary scoring record, the Egyptian forward has climbed to third place on the club’s all-time top scorers list, netting 243 goals in 394 appearances to date.

During his time at Anfield, Salah has been instrumental in one of the most successful eras in the club’s recent history.
He has won seven major trophies, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup, and two League Cups.
Individually, Salah’s brilliance has been widely recognised.

Now, with his future once again committed to Liverpool, Salah will look to build on his legacy and add even more silverware to his remarkable collection.
