PSG continue unbeaten run in another Ligue 1 win

Paris Saint-Germain continue their Ligue 1 unbeaten run with another win at home to Le Havre on Saturday beating the visitors in a 2-1 encounter.
Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain continued their unbeaten run to become the only team in the French top flight to remain unbeaten throughout a season with a comfortable home win over Le Havre.
PSG wrapped up the Ligue 1 title two weeks ago, as such, manager Luis Enrique made nine changes from the side that lost 2-3 to Aston Villa in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final in midweek.
The hosts took an early lead eighth minute of the game when Bradley Barcola sliced a pass into the box to Désiré Doué, whose clever touch took him past his marker before unleashing a shot that took a deflection on its way to the net.

As expected, the Ligue 1 winners controlled the game, completely outplaying the visitors in the first half.
Le Havre were okay with a goal down, knowing what the champions were capable of, but PSG were not letting their foot off the gas – the Parisians doubled their lead five minutes after the interval.
After some incisive close-range passing around the opposition area, Senny Mayulu dinked the ball over onrushing keeper Mathieu Gorgelin, leaving Gonçalo Ramos with the simplest of tap-ins from close range.
The visitors pulled one goal back on the hour mark through an Issa Soumare header from a corner kick move but failed to muster courage to level things.

They failed to have any shot on target, leaving the treble-chasing PSG to their 10th consecutive league win.
PSG increased their advantage over AS Monaco to 24 points, while Le Havre remain 16th in the standings.
The win for PSG means the league winner continues to stay unbeaten in Ligue 1, with 24 wins out of 29 games, drawing 5 in the campaign – scoring 82 goals in the process.
Their away form is considered excellent, as a result of 11 wins, 3 draws, and 0 losses in the entire 2024/25 season.
Luis Enrique’s men are in preparation to meet Arsenal for the second time in the season in the semi-finals of the Champions League first leg encounter.
