Aston Villa forward Marcus Rashford has revealed he is ‘enjoying football’ after being inactive for a few weeks in the Premier League.

Rashford was tipped one of the best forwards for United since 2018 but seemingly failed to live up to expectations. He reportedly fell out with Manchester boss Ruben Amorim, who once stated that he requires ‘committed players for his side.’

The 27-year-old after joining Villa has rediscovered his best form, and says he is enjoying the game after a while without regular action.

“I missed a lot of football before joining Villa. My body feels good now and I’m enjoying my football”, he told the press after Villa’s win over Preston.

Since joining Aston Villa, Rashford has been involved in five goals for Unai Emery’s men, netting his first for the club on Sunday, March 30, to secure a place in the last four for the Villans.

He will be aiming to continue on this path, as returning to United looks far from realistic next summer.
