Amorim assesses Garnacho’s season
Ruben Amorim says “Garnacho needs to improve” his overall game

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has opened up on Alejandro Garnacho’s overall output for the Red Devils, insisting that the Argentine needs to improve across multiple departments.
This term, Amorim’s side has been struggling in the final third, failing to link up and make the best decisions to gain the much-needed results.
Speaking ahead of United’s crunch weekend against city rivals Manchester City, Amorim was asked about Garnacho’s game as a player and the Portuguese coach revealed what needs to change for the better.
“Garnacho needs to improve the way he runs, the way he defends, scores and assists. He is improving. He is doing the right things, but he needs to improve. Like any other player in our team, he has to chose better in the last third. Bruno is the only one scoring the goals”, he said
In the reverse fixture in the Premier League, United staged a dramatic comeback against the champions thanks to an Amad Diallo strike.

Amorim will be hoping Garnacho can make the difference against the Citizens on Sunday afternoon, knowing he’s got the talent to make it happen.
