Berekum Chelsea’s defeat left Boadu in no mood to talk
Samuel Boadu refuses to talk after Kotoko defeat

Berekum Chelsea coach Samuel Boadu was left fuming after his side’s 0-1 defeat to Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday.
The loss, which saw Kotoko rise to the top of the league table, left Boadu in no mood to talk.
When approached by a journalist for his post-match thoughts, the Berekum Chelsea gaffer was tight-lipped.

“Me? I don’t want to talk,” Boadu said gruffly.
“If you talk, they will fine you. My boys did well; let’s keep playing like this.”
Boadu’s reluctance to speak was likely due to the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) strict rules on coach conduct.
The GFA has been known to hand out fines to coaches who criticise referees or make inflammatory comments.

Despite the defeat, Boadu was keen to praise his players for their efforts. “My boys did well,” he repeated, before quickly exiting the interview.
The loss dropped Berekum Chelsea to 9th place in the league table with 32 points. Kotoko, on the other hand, took sole possession of first place, thanks to their narrow victory.
As the season enters its final stretch, Boadu will be hoping his team can bounce back from this setback and climb back up the table.
Berekum Chelsea will aim to bounce back from their recent setback when they face off against beleaguered Basake Holy Stars at Ayinase on Sunday.
Although Holy Stars are winless in their last eight Ghana Premier League outings, Berekum Chelsea can expect a fiercely contested encounter, as the hosts will be desperate to arrest their slide.
The match promises to be a thrilling clash, with Berekum Chelsea seeking to revive their winning momentum and Holy Stars fighting to revive their dwindling fortunes.
