FC Barcelona will be facing Real Madrid in the final of the Copa del Rey thanks to a Ferran Torres winner at the Metropolitano against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night.

Barca began the game on the front foot and went into the lead through a Torres finish that came off a soothing ball from teenage sensation Lamine Yamal.

Atletico managed to regain possession for the final moments of the first half, yet struggled to get back into the game before the break.

The second 45 minutes saw Diego Simeone make three subs, with former Villareal man Alexander Sorloth being one of them.

Sorloth found the back of the net for the hosts after the first hour of the match, but his goal and Atletico’s only shot on target was ruled out for offside.

Barca on the other hand managed to hold onto their lead and ultimately sealed their place in the Copa del Rey final.
