Tottenham submit bid for RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly submitted an official bid for RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons, as exclusively revealed by journalist Florian Plattenberg.
The deal is expected to be close to the German club’s proposed valuation of €70 million, including add-ons.
Meanwhile, Simons has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Chelsea, who have been consistently linked with the Dutch international throughout the summer transfer window.

Chelsea have yet to submit an offer for the 22-year-old to Leipzig, despite weeks of speculation linking them with the versatile former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder prodigy.

According to additional reports, Simons is in London and has been excused from his Leipzig duties pending further notice, as the club seeks to swiftly resolve the attacking midfielder’s future before the transfer window closes next week.
