Tottenham willing to sell captain Son Heung-min this summer

Tottenham are keen on selling captain Son Heung-min this summer amid interest in the forward from Saudi Arabia, according to The Times.
However, the 32-year-old is highly unlikely to leave before the club’s lucrative preseason tour to his native South Korea in August.
While in South Korea, Spurs will play a friendly against Newcastle United at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on August 3.

New manager Thomas Frank wants to revamp the squad he inherited, but the club are commercially contracted to have the captain play in his native country.
The local fans will expect Son to travel with the Tottenham squad to south-east Asia.
Spurs have not received any formal offers for Son, and it remains to be seen if he will be part of Frank’s plans for next season.
The former Brentford manager is eyeing attacking reinforcements this summer. Spurs have already completed the permanent signing of Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich.
Spurs have been linked with a move for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, who is also attracting interest from Manchester United.

The Europa League winners have held initial discussions with the Bees regarding a possible summer move for Mbeumo.
The 25-year-old has one year left on his Brentford contract, though the club have the option to extend by a further year.
Son has been instrumental for Spurs since joining them from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015.
He has racked up 454 appearances and scored 173 goals across all competitions for Spurs, who claimed their first major silverware for 17 years after beating Man United 1-0 in the Europa League final.
