“We will make this team very strong next season”- Slot

Arne Slot has revealed Liverpool will be busy this summer, aiming to improve their squad for the 2025/26 campaign.

Last summer was a dull one for Slot’s side, who missed out on Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi among other transfer targets.

This time however, Slot says his team will be bringing in several names to add to their firepower after announcing Mohammed Salah’s continuation with Virgil Van Dijk’s extension being imminent.

Some of Liverpool’s summer targets include the likes of Newcastle’s Alexander Isak and Bayern’s Kingsley Coman to help Slot in attack as he aims to impress in the Premier League once more in the next term.

Speaking to the press after Liverpool’s weekend victory over West Ham United, Slot hinted on the plan for next season, insisting that his team will be investing heavily in their future.

“We will make this team very strong next season. That’s for sure.”
